Sometimes you have to grab a shot when and where you can. This was shot from my back yard while I was standing on a tree stump. These types of colors only last a few minutes when they happen in the morning, or evening for that matter.
I stumbled onto Maier’s work a while back and was immediately mesmerized. She was an entirely unknown photographer and probably one of the best of the Twentieth century. If you don’t know her or her work, I recommend you check her out.
